Carta Bella - What an honor! and a Giveaway!! :)

Seriously...I am so thrilled to be joining the Carta Bella design team.  Designing with Carta Bella's awesome products is such an honor.  I really love the texture and quality of their papers.  Come on over to Carta Bella's blog for my interview questions:  Carta Bella blog!

I am showing off the Rough & Tumble collection with my first page showcased:

  

I just love the fun colors in this collection which are so perfect for all my summer photos.  The chipboard accents in the collection are pure fun and add a lot of movement to your pages.

On this closeup of the top of the page, you can see how I added banners, planes, boats, and stickers!  A little movement was also added with the slope that I cut  with the patterned paper edges.

I also love to add embellishments to my photos to make the eye move through the page more.  The stickers in the Rough & Tumble collection are perfect for titles, journaling, or just added extras to your page.

Carta Bella...oh how I love thee!

Can I just tell you how over the top excited I am to be joining the design team for Carta Bella for the next year?  I just love the beautiful products that Carta Bella creates and it is my privilege to join the extremely sweet and talented team.  I will be revealing my projects and a free giveaway in the next week so keep watching for them.

The main kit from My Creative Scrapbook...

If you have never considered joining a kit club, I highly recommend you do.  My Creative Scrapbook puts together the best kits and I have found that with my busy, busy schedule, it is so nice to receive a kit in the mail and I can just scrap away without thinking about my embellishments, etc.  It's all there for you in one package.  Pam puts together the best kits and they are always filled.  This is the main kit for August.  Come on over to mycreativescrapbook.com for details on how you can subscribe to the kits.

I have been such a bad, bad blogger lately and I apologize!   I started taking more time for myself in January and began a long process of  becoming more healthy and fit.  I now go to the gym every night for at least an hour and literally work my butt off.  It was so hard at first but now I am enjoying it and look forward to feeling exhausted when I get home.  My scrapping and creativity have suffered because of the lack of time.  This blog has suffered and I am determined to keep up with it now that I have gotten into a workable routine.  Thanks for being patient with me.
